Hi!
My name is Kristine, and I'm the designer behind Hen & Home Designs.
While I currently work in a creative marketing and design role with AgCareers.com, I have long done freelance graphic design work for organizations such as FarmHer and Iowa Farm Bureau and have loved creating pieces for close family and friends. But my desire to continue these kinds of projects led me to begin my own side business. I love creating, and I'd love to create something special for you, your family, your business, or your event.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, a Bachelor's in Writing, and a Master's degree in Digital Media. With a strong background in marketing, I'm happy to discuss those services as well.
Why Hen & Home?
Hen: My husband Reece and I have a henhouse on our farm that has really inspired me and in which I someday hope to house a country store, so the name works for this purpose as well. But beyond that, I have a soft spot for farm animals, farmers, and farms in general. Agriculture, tending to God's creation and being good stewards of the land, is highly important to me and my family. Similarly, I hold myself responsible to steward and cultivate the design opportunities I'm given.

Home: Home is a word that means so much to me. It represents who I am and where I've come from, the place where I can cherish special times, where I feel fearless. I want my designs to evoke that same feeling for you. Whether I am literally creating something meaningful for your home; or I am creating a logo representing your business, your farm, your passion; or I am creating an invitation or card coinciding with a precious moment in your lifetime, my goal is to make it feel like home for you.
